Newspapers hidden by builders when working on Staff House 9 Laura Place. Discovered by builders in 2019 the newspapers had been placed in situ in 1900 and 1963 respectively. They comprise the Sporting Chronicle for 24th July 1900, The Daily Mirror for 4th July 1963 and The Cambrian News 5th July 1963. They were wrapped in a piece of Anaglypta embossed wallpaper ( small sample only retained )

Pencil sketches (digitized version only) of doorway of St. Paul's Wesleyan Methodist Chapel and the beach by the depositor's great uncle, Charles Percy Shelley. CPS was a brass-foundry manager in Birmingham but also a gifted artist, engraver, poet and writer for Birmingham Central Literary Magazine. The depositor allowed us to take copies of the images, the former of which we identified as a doorway to St Paul's Wesleyan Chapel (demolished 1992)
