MUS/40/4 Two letters relating to the proposed ban on leaving farmers' carts in the High Street. David Thomas, the landlord of Nag's Head, wishes to put his views to the Town Council's Public Works Committee meeting: 'it has always been the custom for farmers to be allowed to leave their traps in High Street on Monday afternoons during the summer months [...] there is accommodation at the Nag's head for between 15 and 20 horses, but accommodation for 3 or 4 traps only'
